Overview
1337co.de is a free tool for generating custom QR codes. This policy explains what information is used when you visit this site and how it's handled.
How the QR generator works
The link you enter and the style choices you make (colors, dot shape, corner shape, size) are used only inside your own browser to draw the QR code image. None of it is sent to, processed by, or stored on our servers — there is no backend involved in generating your code, and nothing is logged.
The downloaded PNG is created entirely on your device. We have no record of what codes are generated, what links they point to, or who generated them.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here. Google Analytics is only active if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit; if you click "Reject," or take no action, analytics cookies are not set and no analytics data is collected about you.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page, which re-opens the banner. Data collected by Google Analytics (when consented to) is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Google Fonts — this site loads the Sora and Inter typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may log the request in accordance with their privacy policy.
AWS CloudFront — our content is delivered via Amazon CloudFront, which may retain standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested resource) in accordance with Amazon's Privacy Policy.
Cookies and tracking
Aside from the Google Analytics consent choice described above, 1337co.de does not use cookies or localStorage for any other purpose, and does not run any other tracking scripts. There is currently no advertising on this site.
Children's privacy
This site does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The tool runs entirely in your browser and retains nothing.
